Stayed one night at EasyHotel Leeds – overall, it was okay. The best thing about it is definitely the location. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Leeds Station, and right in the city center, just across from Flat Iron Leeds (perfect if you’re craving steak), with a Costa Coffee next door for your caffeine fix. The room I got didn’t have any windows and seemed to be one of their accessible rooms – spacious bathroom with handrails and a shower seat. Not a problem at all, just something to note. The room itself was clean and basic, totally fine for a short stay. Wi-Fi was decent for general use. They’ve got vending machines on the ground floor and a 24-hour front desk. Free baggage storage is available before check-in, which was really convenient. After check-out they said there might be a charge, but I only needed it for about an hour and wasn’t charged anything. Nothing fancy, but if you’re looking for a budget-friendly spot in a central location, it does the trick.

Smooth check in. Hot water/drinks available from reception at very reasonable prices. Rate is room only. There is not a dedicated restaurant but there is one next door.

Location-wise, definitely a 10/10! As for the service, I’d give it a 7/10 lah. The receptionist and housekeeping staff were genuinely kind and super helpful. Really appreciated their attitude! 😊 However, just a heads-up — the hotel’s system requires you to pay if you want your room cleaned, which was a bit of a letdown 😭

Right in the heart of Leeds city centre, this hotel provides good value for money. However, check-in is a bit late at 3pm, and I had to pay an extra £15 to check in at 1pm. Still, I had a nice cosy room to myself at a reasonable price considering its location.

The room was simple but satisfactory. No window but clean. Be warned, you can see into the shower/toilet room as the wall is just glass, so don’t share with someone you don’t know well 😂

The term “you get what you pay for” has never been represented so clearly. The bathroom being right next to the bed was a new and unwelcome experience.

If location is your top priority, this hotel has you covered—it’s right in the heart of everything! But if you’re planning to stay more than one night, you might want to think twice… Let’s talk about the bed: firm, with equally firm pillows, so if you prefer sleeping on a cloud, you’re in for a rough night. Light sleepers beware—thin walls mean you’ll be serenaded by corridor noise and door slams, not to mention the mysterious, ever-running water from who-knows-where (probably the rooms next door)! Amenities? Minimal. One towel, no in-room kettle (hot water is available downstairs for 20p—bring your own cup or get one from reception! Other hot drinks and a vending machine are available in reception too), and you’ll need to request a hair dryer at reception. Bottom line: great for a quick, no-frills stopover, but not the most restful stay.
